JR (Jim) Larson began his career as an artist after 40 years in mechanical engineering/contracting business when he returned to Iowa State University for a BFA in painting and print making. He works from his studio on the shore of Clear Lake where, in addition to old world art tools, his studio includes a wide format graphic scanner, wide format printers using archival pigmented inks and archival fine art papers and canvas. Along with traditional oil and watercolor paintings, Jim has integrated digital technology, layering of images and painting with "electronic pixels" to achieve the realism he seeks.

All prints numbered and hand-signed by the artist. All reproductions in pigmented inks on archival paper.
